High-grade copper ore from our Kitui project — sourced, assayed and prepared for export under a phased, compliance-led plan.
An oxide-copper project in Kitui West, Kenya, built around an artisanal mining (ASM) cooperative’s ore stockpile as first-phase supply, with pit-by-pit assay work extending the data set toward a full, tonnage-weighted composite grade.
Assaying is carried out in the field with a handheld XRF instrument and progressively confirmed against accredited laboratory analysis — including acid-soluble copper and XRD phase identification. Negligible sulfur across samples on file supports an oxide-copper leach – solvent extraction – electrowinning (SX-EW) processing route to LME Grade-A cathode.
| Commodity | High-grade copper ore (oxide), granulated 0–30 mm |
|---|---|
| Origin | Kitui West, Kenya |
| Copper grade | Wide-ranging across pit samples to date; commercial parcels are graded and priced against independent umpire assay rather than a blended average |
| Moisture | Typically 8–12% by weight |
| Packaging | 1 MT FIBC (jumbo) bags with inner liner |
| Delivery basis | FOB / DAP via bonded warehouse, Port of Mombasa |
| Route to metal | Crush → leach (heap/agitation) → solvent extraction → electrowinning (SX-EW) → LME Grade-A cathode |
We price copper ore on a payable-metal (netback) basis: the LME cash copper price, applied to assayed copper content and an agreed payability percentage, less quality adjustments — settled on a dry-tonne basis against independent umpire assay at discharge.
Quoting as a formula rather than a flat figure keeps pricing transparent for both sides: it moves with the market price, and it reconciles against the actual assayed grade of each parcel rather than a single composite number.
